Derma-Seal may be used to reduce the risk of post treatment infection. This is done by covering the puncture wound created by the needle or cannula.
Creates an impervious barrier
Derma-Seal creates a post treatment impervious barrier by creating a clear film skin covering the puncture wound created by the needle or cannula from e.g. botulinum toxin and filler treatment.
Protection from the unintentional contamination of the injection points
Cosmetic make-up used by your clients every day could carry bacteria increasing the risk of post treatment infection. The same can be said for the unintentional touching of injection points with your fingers through out the day after treatment. May reduce the possible contamination from environmental factors.
The microscopic puncture wounds created by the needles and cannula may be a portal of entry and become infected if cosmetic make-up is applied too soon after treatment. Unfortunately, even though you advise your clients not to touch their face and apply make-up after treatment many still do too soon before the site is fully healed.
Derma-Seal creates an impervious barrier protecting the injection points within minutes after a treatment and also protects the injection points from accidental contact from unintentional touching and contact with hair, make-up and other environmental contaminants.
